Selina provides a wide range of Jewellery workshops from one to one individual classes to group workshop sessions.
One to One Jewellery Classes
The one to one Jewellery Classes are designed for those who have no previous experience of jewellery making to those who do and want to learn more. These course's provides insight into what is involved in the manufacture and design of modern silver jewellery.
Individuals will learn about basic tools, workshop practice and materials, and will be shown a series of techniques to practice both during the day and at home. Students will have the opportunity to cut out, solder, and polish. It is not essential to bring tools, but please do bring a notebook.
Class is held at Selina's Studio in Manchester Craft and Design Centre, in the heart of the Northern Quarter of Manchester City Centre @ Studio 3.

Class One | For the Beginner individual | £120 including material costs
Class Two | For the Experienced Beginner | £240 including material costs
Please ask if you wish to learn anything particular before the class is booked, as all classes above are already structured and can't be added too when the course is taking place. As all depends on previous experience, materials used and time needed will affect the course cost.
Group Jewellery Workshops
Selina holds group workshop sessions through June, July and August. The Workshops will vary from beading and wire forming earrings and necklaces.
The beading workshops will involve using base metals such as copper, brass and silver plated wire. You will learn how to create jewellery without needing to solder and create pieces from using pliers, moulds and snips.
To more advanced workshops where more silversmithing techniques will take place and each pupil will have a set of there our tools and starter kit to take home with them and continue there own practise. In these classes you will learn soldering, hammering, forming, making jump rings and create a pair of earrings and an item of your choose.
Upcoming events

Planning an event and unsure what to do? Selina can discuss provide a workshop that everyone can enjoy. Whether your organising a hen party, birthday celebration, children's party (over 9years) or other bespoke gathering.
Prices Vary from £30 to £50 per person, this is dependant on how many people attend
Selina holds all group sessions and parties in Manchester city centre. A buffet and drinks are provided if requested.
